SharePoint Resources (SPR) ...
as it's name implies, is an organization dedicated to providing education resource for
Microsoft SharePoint and related technologies.
SPR was started in Summer of 2004 to educate persons involved in SharePoint at a reasonable cost.
Our Boot-camps are less than $300 per person per day and you get fed!
SPR trains the technical side; planners, developers, designers, administrators, as well as
subject matter experts (SME) such as users, power users, managers, even some stakeholders.
It is our intention to provide a source for everyone to get
education on the technology known as SharePoint.
Recruiters and hiring managers who write the requirements for resources often don't
understand the skills necessary to standup SharePoint. Many look at is as if it were a legacy
application which it is not! We will aleviate this problem with 20,000 foot a presentation.
-- Resolve it with detail days.
Part of our goal and objective...
is to help define exactly what SharePoint is and what it isn't. It is
currently the most misunderstood technology in the Microsoft stack.
We want to help remedy this situation. We will come to you!
We have helped found a user community with a membership of nearly 500 in the
Washington, DC, metro area dedicated to similar principles. SharePoint User Group of DC (SUGDC)
and it's off-shoot, SUGNOVA in Northern Virginia may be visited at:
